Product Description
Here is a really unique AC Guitars RetroB 5/34 5-string bass guitar that is from the 2025 NAMM show! It features an ART maple burl top, an acrylic resin treated wood that has a stunning look and lasting durability.
Other specs include an American cherry body, 5-piece maple/wenge neck, quilted maple fingerboard, acrylic inlays, 34” scale length, 1 3/4” nut width, and black body accents. It has Gotoh tuners, a Hipshot bridge and an East Uni-Pre 4K preamp. The pickups include an AC Guitars BZ1 at the bridge with rotary control, and an FB at the neck.
This bass has a few faint topical marks, as well as some light scratches around the strings from playing. There is no damage and no issues. The plastic film is still on the rear control plate.
It weighs 9lbs 15oz. The neck measures .840 to .960 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has an asymmetrical profile with a full shoulder on the bass side, and not much at all on the treble side. It’s quite a comfortable shape with a nice satin finish. We love the treatment of the top, and the bass is built quite well from high quality materials.
Ships in a structured gig bag that is close to a hardshell case in terms of durability. Includes the original tools.
