Description
Here is a cool replica guitar, done in the style of a 1959 Les Paul Junior. It has a highly aged TV Yellow finish.
Specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, old growth Braz fingerboard, tortoise guard and wrap around bridge. It has Deluxe tuners, dot inlays, medium jumbo fret wire, a 12” radius and a 1 11/16” nut width. It has a single P-90 dog ear pickup with volume and tone controls.
The guitar was made in the USA and is well-built. We are unclear of the luthier’s name who put this together. It appears to have vintage-correct parts and specifications all around however and is competently done.
The guitar weighs 8lbs 3oz. The neck measures .910 to .950 at the 1st and 12th. It has a full C shaped neck with decent depth, but not too much shoulder. The guitar plays great with a slinky feel and plenty of resonance. It does the Jr thing just right and is overall a fun guitar to play!
