About Benson Amps

Benson Amps is a Portland, Oregon-based builder focused on hand-wired amplifiers and effects pedals. The circuits are original designs developed by founder Christopher Benson, informed by decades of tube amp tradition and refined through his own experience as a working guitarist. The emphasis is on clean tones with natural harmonic response — amps that break up gradually and musically as you push them, rather than switching abruptly between clean and dirty.
