This double cutaway set neck guitar was manufactured in Nashville, TN in the United States and is a Gibson Custom Shop Historic Reissue model. SG, or Solid Guitar, was a slimmer flat top version of Les Paul's signature model, as opposed the maple cap carved top single cutaway Les Paul of the 1950s. Early SG guitars still retain the Les Paul name, but soon after their introduction they are referred to simply as SG.
