Product Description

A Custom Shop reissue of the very late 60s, very early 70s run of all rosewood Tele's. This one matches the aesthetic appointment and features of those guitars, with a two piece rosewood neck/fretboard and a two piece rosewood body with a thin laminate of maple sandwiched between the front and the back. The tuners are the "F" stamped Schaller tuners, with an "F" stamped neck plate as well. The neck wears pearl fretboard and side dots, with the silver spaghetti Fender logo on the headstock.

This run of guitars also features some modern specs, to make it a bit more player friendly. The body is chambered to reduce the weight of the notoriously heavy rosewood. The body is a satin finish WLS Undercoat with a Satin Polyurethane on the neck. The fretboard is a 9.5" radius with 6105 frets. It has a set of Twisted Tele pickups with the modern Tele wiring and a Greasebucket circuit.
